We wish to extend our sympathies to the trooper who suffered injuries in this terrible hit-and-run crash in Hollywood. Law enforcement officers and first responders are on the road daily as part of their duties. These individuals spend more time on our roads than most drivers. As a result, they are often involved in crashes with other motorists that can lead to serious consequences. As we see here, the driver involved in the crash chose to break the law by fleeing the scene afterward.
