Jacksonville, FL (June 28, 2018) – One was critically injured in a Jacksonville accident that took place on San Juan Avenue. A baby received life-threatening injuries.
Authorities responded to the accident, which was deemed serious in nature and took place in a Lakeshore South neighborhood. A mother and her child were sent to the hospital with injuries.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office claim that the accident took place when a vehicle ran a stop sign. A pickup truck then collided with a vehicle. A baby was in the vehicle, who was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The mother also sustained serious injuries and was taken to UF Health.
The crash was so serious that it blocked all lanes on San Juan Avenue. Motorists in the area were all told to take different routes where it was possible.
The crash is still being investigated.
