Florida is a dangerous place for pedestrians. Statistics indicate that our state is at the very top of the rankings when it comes to fatal pedestrian-related crashes. Each year, over 500 Floridians are killed in pedestrian accidents.
In a pedestrian crash, investigators must first determine how the crash occurred. Police will determine whether the crash was avoidable and if the driver should be held responsible for negligent actions which led to the collision. In this case, ongoing investigation will reveal whether the driver was at fault for the accident.
