Jacksonville, FL - Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on Blanding Boulevard

Jacksonville, FL (June 11, 2019) - A motorcyclist died in a crash with a vehicle on Tuesday, June 11th. The accident took place on Blanding Boulevard, near Sunderland Road.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the crash around 1:30 p.m. Deputies report that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Blanding when he crashed into the passenger side of a car. The car was pulling out from Sunderland Road when the crash occurred. The motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was wearing a helmet. He has not been identified at this time.  

Both directions of Blanding Boulevard were closed while police investigated the accident. No further details are available at this time.
