Jacksonville, FL - Multiple Injuries Reported in Crash on I-295

Jacksonville, FL (April 3, 2019) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash that took place on I-295 on Tuesday, April 2nd. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the accident took place around 11:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway, near Beach Boulevard.

Officials report that there were several injuries as a result of the crash. The actual nature and extent of the injuries were not revealed, however. There is no word on what caused the collision to occur. All northbound lanes were blocked as a result of the crash. Crews remained on scene until about 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday investigating and clearing debris. 

The victims have not been identified and no further information is available at this time.
