Serious and fatal pedestrian accidents take place every day in our state. Florida is an extremely dangerous place for pedestrians and pedestrians, as a group, are very vulnerable to catastrophic injuries when they are struck by vehicles. Many major pedestrian crashes occur along busy streets and highways where drivers may fail to see a pedestrian or may fail to yield to a pedestrian, causing a serious crash to occur. Our thoughts go out to the injured victim in this crash and we hope for a full recovery.
