A Jacksonville pedestrian accident took place just south of Interstate 295. The accident closed down southbound traffic on Tuesday morning after it happened. The pedestrian received life-threatening injuries.
The accident happened when the man tried to cross San Jose around 10 a.m. He was taken to the hospital immediately with critical injuries. Aerial views of the accident showed a pickup truck towing a trailer stopped in the median.
