The Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to the crash scene. An investigation into the crash was conducted. After investigation, police were able to determine that 44 year old April Gielow traveling northbound on Babcock when her vehicle suddenly swerved into the southbound lanes and collided with a 1990 Mazda. Three people, including a police officer, are in the hospital following a crash in Miami. The crash took place on Thursday, November 1st. The Miami-Dade Police along with Miami Fire Rescue responded to the crash scene at the intersection of Seventh Avenue and 36th Street. When officials arrived, they located all three injured victims and transported them to Jackson Memorial Hospital. One of the victims is identified as a police officer. There is no word at this time on the extent of the injuries involved or the cause of the collision. Read more
