A Spring Hill woman, 46-year-old Jamie Dawn Patterson, lost her life when she was struck by a vehicle that might have been traveling eastbound at the time. The accident happened on U.S. 19 in Hudson on Wednesday night around 11:30 p.m.
Patterson sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene of the incident. Troopers are now searching for a black sedan, possibly a Ford Taurus. They believe that the vehicle might have been involved in the crash, as the suspect was never found.
