Jermaine Ginyard and Joseph Wolanin Killed in Interstate 75 Accident

Two men, from Sarasota and Ohio, were killed in a head-on collision that occurred on Interstate 75 early Saturday morning. 38-year-old Jermaine Ginyard of Sarasota and 46-year-old Joseph Wolanin of Ohio were the drivers in the accident.

Ginyard was driving southbound in the wrong lane when he struck Wolanin’s vehicle head-on. After the accident took place, both vehicles caught fire. The accident closed lanes of Interstate 75 overnight.

  • Melbourne, FL - 1 Seriously Hurt in US 1 Rollover Crash

    A rollover crash was reported in Melbourne on Sunday, February 2nd. The crash took place along US Highway 1 near Silver Oak Boulevard. Police and rescue officials with the Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to the scene of the collision. When workers arrived, they found one vehicle lying on its side. A victim inside the vehicle was removed and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. No word was given as to the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved. Authorities set up a roadblock at the scene and motorists were urged to use caution when traveling through the area. Read more
