We wish to extend our deepest thoughts and condolences to the family of Jane Kaufman following this tragic crash in Lake City. Deadly car accidents are reported in Florida about once every three hours. Many fatal crashes are entirely avoidable but for the actions of a negligent driver. Head-on collisions produce some of the most destructive results that we see from car accidents across our state. A head-on crash must be carefully investigated but some common causes are impairment, distracted driving, drowsy driving, and sudden medical emergencies.
