Lake County, FL (December 25, 2019) - A pedestrian is dead following a crash in Lake County. The crash occurred along US 27 near Grand Highway in Clermont.
The Clermont Police Department responded to the crash scene. According to police, a pedestrian was walking on US 27 when they were struck by a vehicle. The crash took place on Monday, December 24th. The pedestrian, who has been identified only as a male, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. There is no word on the events leading up to the accident and the driver has not been identified at this time.

A 28-year-old man died in a crash that occurred in Palm Beach in the early morning hours on Monday, October 8th. The crash took place at the intersection of Jog Road and Southern Boulevard. That is where police say a 2005 Kia Amanti collided with a median and two trees around 4:30 am. At the time of the crash, Jose C. Maldonado was a passenger in the Kia. He was rushed to St. Mary's Medical Center with critical injuries. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Another passenger, 24-year-old Jose R.
