Lake Wales, FL - Driver Killed in Two-Car Accident on Timberlane Rd.

Lake Wales, FL (August 29, 2021) - The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating following a deadly car accident on Sunday, August 29th. The accident was reported around 11:00 a.m. on Timberlane Road.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the accident involved a truck and a car. The driver of the car was killed while the truck driver sustained minor injuries. There is no word on the cause of the accident or the identity of the deceased victim. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while police investigated at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing. No further details are available.
