Lakeland Semi-Truck Accident Kills One Other Driver

Today, a Lakeland semi-truck accident took place around 2:45 p.m. that took the life of one driver. The accident happened at U.S. 98 North and Rockridge Road. The semi-truck was driving north when it suddenly struck a Nissan Altima that was headed eastbound and entered into the intersection.

The Nissan had the right of way.

When first responders arrived at the scene, they found the driver inside the Nissan dead. The semi-truck rolled over onto its side after the accident but the driver did not have injuries. Motorists in the area were urged to find alternative routes.
