In recent news, a woman crashed into a sheriff’s office substation in Pembroke Park, Florida. Now authorities say there is an update: She will be facing criminal charges for her actions, where she was found with her vehicle and accelerants in the car.
34-year-old Lasandra Johnson will be charged with both arson and burglary after the crash that took place on Monday morning. Johnson smashed the car into the office community service room when a fire instantly erupted inside the vehicle. At the time, officers were not sure if this was intentional or not. Johnson was discovered by a worker who was painting inside the office, who proceeded to help her out of her vehicle.
Johnson was taken to the hospital to be treated, where she currently remains for her injuries. Johnson will face charges, though we are waiting for an update on those at this time.
