Two cars were traveling eastbound, one in front of the other, at the time of the accident. The car in front began to slow down and merge into the center turn lane, while the other vehicle continued on. They did not see the vehicle slowing down and ran into the back of the other vehicle.
The roadway was blocked for an hour. Both drivers received minor injuries and the driver in the back was charged for following too closely.
