A 49-year-old woman passed away due to injuries sustained in a serious Marion County crash last evening. The accident happened when 35-year-old Justin Moore was driving his pickup truck and 76-year-old Joseph McCullough was driving his Honda Civic. Lisa Douglas was a passenger in the Civic.
Moore started making a U-turn through a paved crossover on the roadways right in front of the Civic. McCullough quickly slammed on the brakes, which locked them and made him skid before he hit the pickup truck in the front. The vehicle overturned and Douglas was partially ejected.
McCullough and Douglas were taken to the hospital for their injuries. McCullough sustained serious injuries and Douglas died from her injuries.
