Lutz, FL (July 28, 2021) - A 21-year-old man from Land O'Lakes died in a motorcycle crash on Tuesday night. The accident took place around 9:30 p.m. on Dale Mabry Highway near the Veterans Expressway.
Police say that the motorcycle rider was approaching the intersection when a 17-year-old female from Odessa was driving an SUV. The SUV driver turned left into the path of the motorcycle, causing a collision between the two vehicles. The motorcyclist, who was not identified, died at the scene. The SUV driver was not injured in the crash. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed. No further information is available.
An investigation is underway at this time.
