Two people lost their lives in a crash that took place near Archer on Sunday, September 22nd. Police responded to the scene at Parker Road near Southwest 65th Avenue around 9:32 p.m. in response to reports of the accident. According to authorities, 62-year-old Steve R. Gaudia, Sr. as driving a 2008 Nissan Altima southbound on Parker Avenue when, for unknown reasons, his car left the road and hit a power pole. The car then flipped several times before coming to a stop. Both Gaudia and his passenger, who has not been identified, were pronounced dead at the scene.
