Our thoughts are with the family of the victim who was killed in this hit-and-run crash. About 100,000 hit-and-run crashes area reported in our state every year. This accounts for approximately one-quarter of all traffic accidents. Although not all hit-and-run crashes involve injury, there are many that do. In many instances, the injuries suffered in a hit-and-run are serious, leaving victims with a long road to recovery.
