Approximately two pedestrians die in crashes on Florida streets and highways each day. Pedestrian crashes, such as this one, are often very serious in nature. Pedestrian accidents are most likely to happen in the evening hours when lighting and visibility is less than during the day. Drivers and pedestrians should both take special care and not take any unnecessary risks which are likely to increase the odds of a collision occurring.
