A 30-year-old man lost his life in an Alachua County accident that happened on Wednesday morning. The accident was deemed a two-vehicle crash involving a motor vehicle and a dump truck.
The 30-year-old was identified as Matthew Silas Miller, who was driving his pickup truck at the time. 46-year-old Clisby Ray Miles, on the other hand, was driving his dump truck. For reasons that are still unknown, the pickup truck pulled into the intersection and came into the path of the dump truck.
The dump truck then struck the side of the pickup truck. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.
