Miami-Dade, FL (August 19, 2018) – One person lost their life following a deadly motorcycle accident in Miami-Dade. The accident happened around 5:24 a.m. yesterday when a motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer, leading to another crash.
Fire Rescue came to the scene of the incident on Saturday to find that the accident had taken place near Northwest 106th Street. The initial collision was so serious that it caused a silver car to slam into a road ranger.
The victim was able to be extricated out of the wrecked silver car. The motorcyclist was quickly transported to a nearby trauma center where he died due to his injuries.
Since then, the road has been reopened.
Motorcycle riders are the most likely type of motor vehicle driver to be involved in a fatal crash. In fact, more than 5,000 people lost their lives in these accidents in 2015 alone. We want to offer our condolences if you are somebody who lost a loved one during this difficult time.
