Miami Gardens, FL (August 7, 2018) – A fatal tractor-trailer accident took place that left a truck driver dead in Miami Gardens. The vehicle overturned in the northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was called to the scene of the accident which occurred around 11:40 a.m. today. One person was trapped inside the truck and had to be removed. A surgeon was called to the scene as well.
The victim was pronounced dead after they were removed from the vehicle. Crews closed down the northbound lanes of the roadway while they examined the scene.
Police are still investigating at this time.
