Michael Hamman Strikes 7-Year-Old Child on Motorcycle

Wednesday night in Panama City, a 7-year-old was struck by a motorcycle. The accident happened when a family was crossing East U.S. Business 98 from CVS to the Dollar Tree. Suddenly, 50-year-old Michael Hamman rode up, striking the 7-year-old.

The child received serious injuries in the accident. They were taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to a Pensacola children’s hospital. Charges are pending at this time. The crash is still being investigated.

    A man from Brooksville died and another was seriously hurt following a crash on State Road 54 in New Port Richey. The collision was reported around 2:30 p.m. along State Road 54 near the intersection with Old Mill Pond Drive. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 34-year-old Brooksville man was traveling westbound in a pickup truck on SR 54. As he approached Old Mill Pond, the truck crossed the centerline and entered the path of a second truck operated by a 67-year-old man from Trinity.   • Pompano Beach, FL - David K. Biggs Killed in Crash with Tractor-Trailer

    A 53-year-old man from Delray Beach, FL was killed in a crash with a semi-truck. The crash took place around 11:40 p.m. on North Powerline Road near Northwest 17th Street. According to police, David K. Biggs was driving a 2020 Jeep Wrangler northbound on Powerline Road. At the same time, a 2016 Freightliner was attempting to make a left turn to travel south onto Powerline. The truck collided with the Jeep, causing the Jeep to then burst into flames. Firefighters put out the fire at the scene. Biggs died from his injuries suffered in the crash. The truck driver was not hurt and stayed at the scene to cooperate with police. Read more
