On Thursday, 63-year-old Gary Johnson was driving a golf cart on Thompkins Drive when he attempted to cross a road and traveled into the path of a vehicle. The Kia was driven by 20-year-old Ashley Martinez.
Johnson’s passenger in the golf cart, 56-year-old Michael Patrick, was ejected and initially suffered critical injuries. Everybody else in the accident was either injured or had minor injuries.
In an update, it was stated that Michael Patrick died in the hospital on Friday due to the extent of his injuries.
