A motorcyclist lost their life in a Hillsborough County accident that happened last night. The incident took place near the intersection of Memorial Highway and Hillsborough Avenue.
Florida Highway Patrol says that the motorcyclist was traveling westbound when it happened. They collided with a turning vehicle on the highway. As a result, the cyclist received fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The intersection was closed to traffic the entirety of the night while detectives investigated, requiring motorists to seek other routes.
