Naples, FL (September 26, 2018) - A woman killed in a crash in Naples on Thursday, September 19th has been identified.
The Florida Highway Patrol says that Marigo Pappas-Daley, 88, was traveling on Airport Pulling Road at Orange Blossom Drive around 8:40 pm. Pappas-Daley was driving a Hyundai in the westbound lanes and was approaching a traffic light when her vehicle collided with the side of a Ford F-150 pickup. Investigators say that Pappas-Daley had a red light when the crash occurred.
The other vehicle was driven by 33-year-old Julio Rodriguez Vazquez. Vazquez, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was transported to Collier County Hospital. Pappas-Daley was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
