Nicholas Carson Killed on Highway 90 After Flipping Vehicle

29-year-old Nicholas Carson was killed early Sunday morning on Highway 90 when he was driving his 2006 GMC Sierra and went off the road. He crashed through a barrier of trees and flipped the Sierra.
Carson was traveling west on a road in Leon County at the time and was ejected from his truck. By the time emergency crews responded, he was pronounced dead. The truck ran off the road and Carson overcorrected, which made him lose control. The truck landed upright after it flipped.

Port Charlotte, FL - Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash on Kings Highway
A 61-year-old man from Port Charlotte was seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash that took place on Saturday. The crash happened on Kings Highway near Sandhill Boulevard. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene just after the crash occurred. According to a report from troopers, the motorcyclist was riding his bike on Kings Highway when a car entered his lane and collided with the motorcycle. The rider was taken to a hospital with major injuries but there is no word on whether the injuries are life-threatening. The motorcyclist has not been identified at this time. Read more
