A car accident is reported in Florida every 92 seconds. Many car accidents take place on highways and at busy intersections. Drivers at intersections often fail to follow all traffic laws carefully. They may fail to yield or fail to stop at a stop sign or flashing light. These momentary mistakes can have major long-term consequences. When a negligent driver causes injuries to other motorists, the driver may be held civilly responsible for the damages that they have caused.
