A driver was seriously injured and taken to the hospital after a Northwest Miami-Dade rollover crash took place. The accident took place early this morning when a driver hit a curb and slammed into a tree. Officials worked to pull the driver out of the vehicle.
The vehicle was the only one involved in the accident. They believe that the driver catapulted when the vehicle struck the palm tree. The victim was partially ejected and pinned under the vehicle.
They were taken to Ryder Trauma Center.
