Our thoughts are with the family of the pedestrian killed in this Orange County crash. Pedestrian fatalities are common in Florida and occur twice per day on average. Pedestrians are especially vulnerable to death or serious injury when they have been involved in a traffic crash. Many pedestrian crashes will take place due to the negligence of drivers who are distracted or otherwise fail to follow traffic laws, resulting in a crash.
