Orange County, FL (January 13, 2019) - A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Orange County on Saturday, January 12th. According to reports, the crash took place at the intersection of Colonial Drive and Lake Downey Drive.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to investigate the incident. The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the crash and was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released any information about the pedestrian or the vehicle involved and it remains unclear exactly how the crash took place. Officers did reveal that the pedestrian as not in a crosswalk when the collision occurred.

The crash took place on I-75 around 9:00 a.m. Rescue workers report that a truck was involved in the rollover accident. The driver had to be extricated from his vehicle. After being freed, he was taken to UF Health Shands as a trauma alert. There is no further word on his condition at this time. Police have not said what led up to the accident. Read more
The two victims of a fatal crash in West Palm Beach have been identified by authorities. The crash took place on Friday, July 17th along North Congress Avenue. Police responded to the scene in the 1800 block of the roadway around 4:20 p.m., near the Palm Beach Outlets. According to reports, 27-year-old Samuel Newby was traveling southbound on Congress in a 2001 Buick LeSabre.For unknown reasons, Newby lost control of his car and collided head-on with a Ford truck that was traveling northbound on Congress. Two passengers in Newby's vehicle, 30-year-old Donte Burney of West Palm Beach, and 29-year-old Reontre'yn Pounds of Riviera Beach died at the crash scene.
