Orange County, FL (March 21, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to an injury crash on Taft Vineland Road on Saturday, March 21st. The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. near the intersection with the Central Florida Parkway. Troopers arrived around 8:26 a.m., approximately 10 minutes after the accident took place.
According to reports, at least one person suffered injuries in the crash although the nature and extent of the injuries remain unclear. There was a roadblock set up at the scene as drivers were told to find alternate routes of travel.
There is no further information available at this time.

Two men were killed in a Saturday car accident on the Florida's Turnpike. The crash took place near Minute Maid Road around 10:30 a.m. According to reports, a 36-year-old man from Ocala was driving an SUV on the Turnpike when he ran off the road and onto the grassy shoulder. The driver then overcorrected the vehicle and traveled back onto the highway before striking a guardrail and flipping over. Two passengers in the vehicle, a 35-year-old Silver Springs man, and a 25-year-old man from Davie, were killed as a result of the crash.
