Orange County, FL (April 27, 2019) - A teenager on spring break was killed when his vehicle was involved in a rollover crash. The crash happened on State Road 417 on Thursday, April 25th.
14-year-old Michael Friscia was a passenger in a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica that was involved in the crash. According to reports, 29-year-old Polanco Sanchez was driving a 2007 Nissan Maxima southbound on SR 417 when he attempted to make a lane change. As he changed lanes, the Maxima collided with the Pacifica. Both vehicles traveled onto the roadway shoulder, where the Pacifica rolled over several times. Friscia was killed in the crash. Three other passengers in the Pacifica were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police determined that Sanchez was impaired at the time of the crash and tests are pending. Charges are expected to be filed once test results are received. No further information is available.

A crash along US-1 in the Florida Keys caused serious injuries on Wednesday, May 22nd. The crash was first reported around 1:30 p.m. Police and rescue officials arrived at the scene shortly after the crash. Following an initial investigation, at least one person was determined to have serious injuries. No word was provided on how the accident took place, nor is there any information on the extent of the injuries involved.
