While the risk of on-the-job injury is minimal for many people, some professional carry a high chance of being hurt while working. The construction injury is among those sectors where workers are most likely to be involved in serious accidents that have devastating consequences. There are many rules, regulations and safety standards that govern construction sites. Companies in charge of construction projects are required to follow these standards to minimize the risk to workers and others who are at the site. In some cases, however, the company or other entity in charge of the project fails to follow the proper safety protocol and injuries result.
