Fatal car accidents take place about every three hours in Florida. When a fatal crash occurs, police must undertake a careful investigation in order to determine the events leading up to the crash, including how and why the crash occurred. When a driver's negligence causes the death of another person, Florida's wrongful death laws may apply to the situation.
