The number of fatal DUI crashes continues to rise each year in Florida, with a 16% jump between the years 2016 and 2017. Impaired drivers pose a great risk to all other motorists due to their slowed reflexes and decreased reaction time. Additionally, these drivers are usually unable to appreciate the extreme danger of operating a vehicle while impaired.
