Osceola County, FL (September 22, 2019) - A man from St. Cloud died after being hit by a car on Florida's Turnpike. The crash took place on Saturday, September 21st around 10:35 p.m.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Willy Castano was standing along the roadway when he was struck by a 2009 Ford Focus. The driver of the Focus was identified as 24-year-old Valentina Yee-White of Kissimmee, FL. After White's vehicle struck Castano, he was then hit by a semi-truck and a 2019 Ford Mustang. Castano was pronounced dead at the crash scene. No one else was injured in the accident.
No one else was hurt and the crash remains under investigation at this time.
