In Brevard County in the town of Cocoa, a man was found dead inside his vehicle along I-95 this morning. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene of the incident.
The man was identified as 55-year-old Gary Scott of Titusville. He died in the crash but police do not know exactly when it happened – they just came across the vehicle around 6:30 a.m. The police found Scott dead inside of a Chevrolet pickup truck. They are seeking more information but it is clear at this time that the pickup truck struck a tree before it overturned.
Scott had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time.
In 2013, many fatal accidents took place in Florida. 427 of these people lost their lives in a pickup truck, many of which were rollovers.
