Palm Beach County, FL (March 4, 2019) - One person is dead following a three-car crash on Sunday, March 3rd, which took place on Southern Boulevard around 3:30 p.m.
According to reports, a semi-truck was traveling westbound on Southern Boulevard. The truck was in the right turn lane while a Ford F-150 and a third vehicle directly behind it were traveling southbound on State Road 700. The semi attempted to make a right turn but instead rolled over and landed on top of the Ford. The third vehicle then swerved off the roadway to avoid the crash.
The driver of the Ford died at the scene. Two people in the third car suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The crash remains under investigation.

A car carrying several Boy Scouts and scout leaders was involved in a fiery crash with a semi-truck on the Florida Turnpike. The crash took place on Saturday, June 22nd, just after 11:30 a.m. A total of seven Boy Scouts, along with four adults, were in the car which was traveling along the southbound lanes of the Turnpike, near Fort Drum Service Plaza. The car collided with a semi-truck, causing it to erupt in flames. Fortunately, all of the occupants were able to escape the car and avoid becoming trapped. One Boy Scout and one adult were taken to the hospital for injuries which did not appear to be life-threatening. Video from the scene showed a massive plume of black smoke rising from the crash site.
