A Panama City Beach helicopter accident took place recently, with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office investigating. The incident took place when two business helicopters were flying into Destin when, suddenly, one of the helicopters experienced mechanical failure. The pilot was aware of this and started to land the helicopter in the water.
The helicopter then overturned, but the pilot was able to get out. Lifeguards came to rescue the man. One person was taken to the hospital.
