Florida experiences about 100 fatalities annually in bicycle-related crashes. While this number is lower than crashes involving traditional vehicles, bicyclists are still at risk of being hurt or killed in crashes each time they go out onto the roadway. A Florida bicycle crash can happen in an instant and can have irreversible consequences. Many bicycle accidents are preventable and are caused due to the negligent actions of drivers.
