Polk County, FL (May 9, 2019) - A fatal, multi-vehicle crash was reported in Polk County on Wednesday, May 9th. The crash happened on State Road 60 at Grape Hammock Road.
At least one tractor-trailer is reported to be involved in the crash and one person passed away from their injuries. The Polk County Sheriff's Office was among the first agencies to respond to the crash. Deputies have not released any details on how the accident occurred or which driver may have been at fault. Both sides of State Road 60 were closed for the crash investigation.
