Pompano Beach, FL (April 2, 2019) - A crash involving a car and a Brightline train left three people, including a child, with injuries on Tuesday, April 2nd.
Authorities responded to the scene at Northeast Third Street and North Dixie Highway in reference to the collision. While only one car actually collided with the train, there were also two other vehicles involved in the crash. A four-door sedan with front-end damage was seen being towed from the site of the crash. The Broward Sheriff's Office investigated the crash. Two women and a child were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear what caused the accident to take place.
No one inside the train was injured and no additional details are available.

The crash took place on I-75 around 9:00 a.m. Rescue workers report that a truck was involved in the rollover accident. The driver had to be extricated from his vehicle. A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a car on Tuesday, January 29th in St. Augustine. The crash took place at the intersection of Wildwood Drive and Carter Road. According to authorities, the car and motorcycle collided with one another just after 8:30 am The motorcyclist was airlifted to UF Health with serious injuries There is no further information regarding the extent of the injuries or if they are life-threatening.
