Putnam County, FL (August 12, 2021) - Police and rescue officials responded to the scene of a car accident in Putnam County on Thursday morning. The accident took place near the intersection of State Road 26 near State Road 100.
The Putnam County Fire Rescue and Sheriff's Office responded to a call shortly after the collision. When police arrived, they located a red sedan with heavy damage. Officials reported that at least one person suffered significant injuries as a result of the crash. There is no word on the victim's condition or the events that led up to the accident. There was a substantial delay near the scene as motorists were asked to find alternate routes of travel.
No additional details have been released at this time.
