Shady Hills, FL (October 26, 2018) - A serious crash in Shady Hills left one person dead and an infant seriously injured on Friday morning, October 26th. The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of County Line Road near Monteverde Drive.
The crash occurred when a car collided with a utility truck. The driver of the car died and an infant who was a passenger in the car had to be airlifted from the scene with serious injuries. The crash closed down part of County Line Road while police conducted a crash investigation. The road was expected to be closed for a significant period of time while the wreckage was cleared away. Officers advised drivers to find an alternate route.
There is no word on exactly how the crash occurred. Those involved have not been identified and there is no further information available at this time.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the crash took place in the westbound lanes of Hillsboro Boulevard near an overpass with Interstate 95. The bicyclist died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident. Police have not identified the bicyclist at this time. Read more
A crash involving a box truck and several other vehicles resulted in injuries to several people in West Miami-Dade. The incident took place in the northbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway near Southwest 8th Street on Tuesday, January 8th. The Florida Highway Patrol and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue were called to the scene of the accident around 3:00 pm. The box truck was carrying televisions at the time of the crash and many of the TVs could be seen in the road following the collision. A Honda and a minivan were also involved in the accident. In total, four people sustained injuries in the accident but only one of the injured victims was hospitalized. Traffic in the area was slow due to cleanup and police investigation. Read more
