On Tuesday morning, a Sheriff’s deputy was involved in a crash and sustained minor injuries. The deputy was hurt in the wreck after a Jeep was cut off by another vehicle, which caused it to swerve and strike the patrol vehicle. The driver of the Jeep did not have injuries.
The deputy was trying to stop a vehicle at the time. They were injured when the airbags inside the vehicle deployed. The crash was thoroughly investigated.
