Our condolences go out to the large number of people affected by this transit bus crash in the Miami area. While public transportation is generally safe, there are certainly reports of crashes that take place involving buses, trains and other means of mass transit. When a crash occurs involving these types of vehicles, a careful examination of the crash must be undertaken in order to determine liability. In cases where the mass transit operator was at fault there may be municipal insurance policies in place to help cover any damage and injuries that have occurred.
