Southwest Miami-Dade, FL – Tractor-Trailer Accident Sends Two to Hospital

Southwest Miami-Dade, FL (August 11, 2018) – Two people had to be taken to the hospital following a serious tractor-trailer accident that took place in Southwest Miami-Dade. The accident happened when the tractor-trailer collided with two vehicles along the Florida Turnpike.
The crash took place on the southbound lanes of Southwest 211th Street around 1:15 a.m. on Friday. Rescue crews came to the accident and transported victims to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash produced a serious fuel spill, and hazmat teams were sent to the scene to clean up. The roadway was shut down for several hours while the investigation took place but has since been reopened to traffic.
According to Florida state statistics, commercial vehicles and trucks are involved in 120 crashes every day. Indian River County, FL - 3 Hurt in 3-Car Crash on State Road 60
Three people were hurt in a three-vehicle crash on State Road 60 in Indian River County. The crash took place on Monday, December 16th around 10:43 a.m. According to police, the crash involved a White Ford, Grey Lincoln, and a Black Porsche.
